Travel - Vietnam 2024

November 2024, and it was time to venture east to Vietnam. This was our first ever visit and, whilst I was excited, I didn't anticipate how much I was going to fall in love with this country.

I have been very lucky to travel to some wonderful places during the last 30+ years, but Vietnam is easily one of the best countries I've ever visited. Yes, the traffic is bonkers, yes, crossing the road is interesting, yes, my lungs have aged 5 years breathing in the fumes of 15 million scooters................ but I wouldn't swap the experience of this incredible country for all the tea in China.

In addition to the chaos, colour, smells and pollution, there are the people who are an absolute pleasure to be around. Our trip started in Hanoi, we then ventured south to Ho Chi Minh, then to the Mekong Delta and finally to the island of Phu Quoc, ending back in Ho Chi Minh for final 36 hours.

It really was a travel photographers dream and it has taken me 2 months to edit my favourite shots. Thank you Vietnam, you were epic.
