Finally, after my lovely other half dropping numerous hints for years, we made it to Morocco.
The main focus of the trip would be to visit Marrakech, and that was to be our base from which to explore. Within Marrakech is the Medina, basically a walled area which contains all the very old buildings, markets, riads, choas, scooters doing mach 3 through tiny lanes, spices, food, and very colourful characters.
Whilst the photography opportunities were wonderful, not everything or everyone was up for being captured. I did run into several people who got rather agitated by my camera, even though I wasn't pointing it at them. But this is their city and their ways were to be respected, I was merely a visitor so I captured what I could without starting any riots or punch ups.
We did have a couple of amazing guides who took us to some really interesting parts of the Medina, big shout out to Ilyass and Omar who are also awesome photographers. We also made it out to the amazing town of Essaouri on the Atlantic coast, and to the Atlas mountains which were stunning.
