Autumn 2021, and finally the chance to escape the rock in search of some adventure following the misery of lockdown.
With plenty of restrictions still in place, we decided that an autumnal road trip a little closer to home might prove easier to execute.
As such, we decided to head north and explore Scotland as this had been on the 'to do' list for many years.
With a busy schedule and circa 1500 miles mapped out we started in Manchester and took in Glasgow, the Highlands, Skye, Aviemore, Pitlochry, Edinburgh and a whole host of lovely places in between.
The autumnal conditions are clear to see in my photos and I certainly fell in love with Scotland. The people, scenery and whisky were all very memorable ;-)
