A Summer Shoot with Chloe Roussel

Over the last couple of years I have taken plenty of photos of Chloe, but as she is about to head off to dance college she asked if I could take a few summer shots before leaving for England.

We headed to Jerbourg, then Lancresse and finally finished up in town for as long as the light lasted as this was an evening shoot.

Below are my favourites, I hope you like them.

Good Luck Chloe :-)

Katie & Steve - An Evening Wedding Bash

I have done a fair few photo shoots during the last 12 months and on this occasion I was approached by a good friend to do some photos at a wedding bash. Having not done a wedding before I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't a little apprehensive, OK so I was bricking it!!! But hey, nothing ventured nothing gained and I am a big believer in facing fears head on. This time I would be armed with a Canon so what could possibly go wrong ............................nothing I hope!

The lovely couple in question were Katie & Steve who recently tied the knot in Las Vegas, they flew in a helicopter with the Vicar to the Grand Canyon and held the ceremony there, nothing like doing it in style. So after slumming it in the USA they returned to the party capital of the world, Cobo Bay, to have an evening celebration with family & friends. Given our glorious climate the weather was bound to be beautiful, much better than Vegas so sunset beach shots were a dead cert. Well these were the ridiculous delusions that I was using to convince myself that everything would be alright on the night :-/

Unbelievable but Cobo Bay did indeed pull off one of the nicest sunsets of the year so far, huge sigh of relief from me. Katie was world class at organising all the people that they wanted in various photos and with the aid of some threatening behavior they all smiled for me and made the job a pleasure. The bride and groom were extremely photogenic and beautifully dressed making this shoot a real pleasure to do.

So I have survived, and from what I understand there isn't a contract on my head from the couple or their relatives therefore this was a success. Below are a few of my favourites from the evening, I hope you like them.

James :-)
