This weekend I, together with some good friends from Prism Photography club, managed to fulfill a lifelong ambition and spend 24 hours on Lihou Island.
The trip had been booked for quite a while and 1 week prior to going the weather prediction was horrific, we expected to be sat round a log burner drinking heaps of booze but someone somewhere very kindly delivered us a some gorgeous skies and minimal rain.
By the time the causeway closed there was only 12 of us on the island and we were suitably armed with enough big lenses to view Pluto on a cloudy day! The island truly is one of the most photogenic parts of the Bailiwick and between the 12 of us over 3000 shots were taken. Admitted not all of them will be good but there were a couple of crackers.
Below are a few of my favourites that I took, as a club we have decided that should anybody like to purchase any of these as prints/canvas then any profit would be donated to The Lihou Charitable Trust.
Hope you like them :-)
