This weekend I had the chance to do another photo shoot with 2 more mad dogs. Clem & Maisy are the best of mates and are happiest running around like idiots. Luckily for me they both have little legs so it wasn't to strenuous keeping up with them.
Clem (the Westy) is totally fearless and disappears off in every direction whilst Maisy (the pick'n'mix white curly thing) is a complete wuss that wont leave her mums side for more than 20 seconds. It was fun trying to shoot them with just one camera without changing lenses so I decided to opt for the 24-105mm which covered a lot of bases and I think it performed pretty well.
We started off at Petit Bot but the tide was quite high and the wind was blowing plenty of spray about, one of the many pains for a photographer! After a few shots we headed off to the south end of Vazon Bay which was much calmer, both dogs were good models even if the wind kept blowing their fur in their eyes.
Hope you like the results :-)
Yesterday I had my first experience of doing a photo shoot with some pets, and what fun it was.
Dani Le Breton very kindly volunteered her two wonderful rescue dogs as willing models. 'Ditch' & 'Meg' had me chasing them around Petit Bot beach trying to get decent shots, in addition to these fast moving targets the light was all over the place, so all in all it was very challenging but very worthwhile.
'Meg' decided to bring her floating toy which did look rather dodgy (see below) but I guess that just goes to prove that I have a very warped mind!!! ;-)
Hope you like the shots below and big thanks to Dani, Meg & Ditch for your patience.
